Tax Manager, Global Mobility Services and Payroll

We are looking to recruit a Manager to manage a portfolio of clients for payroll and Global Mobility Services (GMS) with minimal supervision and to be the main contact in providing these services to clients. 

• Provide tax and social security advisory and planning work on client portfolio
• Payroll processing for clients
• Support clients in all matters related to payroll, personal income tax and social security contributions compliance
• Support in providing GMS to clients
• Liaising with tax authorities and other institutions when required for the provision of payroll and GMS
• Conducting day-to day communication with clients as well as constant communication with other KPMG offices
• Respond appropriately to requests from clients for other KPMG offices
• Manage the compliance process through to submission of payroll and tax computations
• Provide guidance to junior members of staff on compliance and advisory matters related to payroll, social security contributions and GMS
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Excellent knowledge of Macedonian tax, social security and labor legislation
• Relevant experience in the area of preparation of payroll and personal income tax calculations as well as in provision of GMS
• Sound knowledge of the international taxation in the area of personal income tax and the application of Social Security Agreements (Totalization agreements) as well as accounting principles
• Advanced computer skills – Excel, work with payroll software
• High level of analytical skills and ability to research technical issues
• Fluency in English
