      A career within Tax services, KPMG will provide you with the opportunity to work with the highly experienced tax specialists and to help our international clients meet and manage their tax obligations in Mongolia. You’ll advise clients on their local and international tax affairs, while acting as a tax consultant related to their business plan, dispute resolution, and tax solutions.

       

      Responsibilities:

      • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing tax and accounting related tasks including tax advisory and tax compliance services to a variety of clients
      • Participate in a full spectrum of assignments
      • To obtain good working knowledge of firm's workflow management tools
      • To research on tax related topics and furnish reviewers with sufficient information and advice in order to ensure correct completion of the tax advice and tax returns.
      • Keep up-to-date on current tax practices

       

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation from an accredited college/university
      • Good command of English language
      • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
      • Coursework or internship in related field preferred. The ability to understand and a good knowledge of tax regulations is a plus point
      • Strong technical ability including research and writing skills to meet our business objectives
      • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

      Responsibilities:

      • Learn to prepare clear, well-structured and effective audit documentation regarding our understanding of clients processes and technology systems, including the flow of transactions, identification of risk points and controls that mitigate the risk points
      • With appropriate guidance, execute and document testing of client controls and financial statement account balances with clear explanations of procedures and results using appropriate standards and terminology; identify potential misstatements and control deficiencies when performing testing procedures and escalate as appropriate
      • Support the execution of a high-quality audit through the diligent performance of assigned tasks and professional client and engagement team interactions

       

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor of Accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
      • Strong knowledge of financial statements and procedures
      • Strong knowledge in audit procedures
      • Strong communication, time management and relationship-building skills
      • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking and research skills; ability to navigate various computer applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel); aptitude to quickly learn KPMG Audit tools and applications used by our clients
      • Fluency in both English and Mongolian

      • Other Accounting Advisory (for example developing accounting policy, support on or preparation of complicated financial statements, implementation of new IFRS Accounting Standards, enhancing accounting processes and internal controls, etc.)

      Requirements:

      • Final grade student with a GPA score of 2.8 and above
      • Pursuing the bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economic would be preferred
      •  Good understanding of the financial statements and related disclosures
      • Analytical skills, logical thinking, strong communication and good time management
      • Good technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking skills
      • Ability to navigate MS Office applications with a general understanding of data analysis techniques would be an advantage

      • Interacts with clients and project manage audits to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient and audits are performed effectively
      • Applies knowledge of current issues in audit, accounting, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements and industry specific concerns to client engagements, identifies where they may impact a client and reflects these in the audit documentation.

       

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor of Accounting, Economics, Business management or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
      • Passed first Mongolian CPA exam or a significant part of the ACCA program (or equivalent)
      • Minimum of three years of current and/or recent financial statement audit experience at international auditing firms
      • Audit experience at one of the Big 4 auditing firms is preferred
      • Fluency in English and Mongolian
      • Strong communication, time management and relationship-building skills
