My journey in Audit began back home, and in 2022, I took a significant step forward by relocating to Malta as an Assistant Manager within Financial Audit. Today, I am proud to serve as an Audit Manager and contribute to the Innovation Committee, a role that has been both challenging and rewarding.
Thanks to a seamless onboarding experience and the support of the resource team, my transition was smooth. The leadership team provided invaluable guidance, enabling me to focus on delivering high-quality audits for both local and international clients. Being part of an engagement team where my contributions are encouraged and my achievements celebrated, has made me feel like a valued member of a close-knit family. Working in a diverse and multicultural environment has also enriched my communication skills, strengthened my teamwork capabilities, and expanded my professional knowledge and networking abilities.
Beyond the office, Malta’s prime location in the Mediterranean makes travel to other Schengen countries convenient, and the warm, welcoming nature of the people, both within and outside the firm, has made my experience at KPMG in Malta even more fulfilling.
