As a firm, we are guided by our Purpose — to inspire confidence and drive meaningful change. It's our duty to actively engage in addressing crucial global challenges where our expertise can have a positive impact.
In line with this commitment, the KPMG Education Trust Fund (“the Trust”) is established as part of Our Impact Plan to advocate for quality education. Through this initiative, we aim to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education, as well as promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Through the Trust, our dedication extends to enriching the lives of B40 communities and nurturing young talents nationwide. Since 2022, the[JV1] Partners of KPMG have jointly allocated RM 5 million over a span of 10 years for this initiative. In 2023, the firm has earmarked nearly RM 0.5 million across our sponsorship and scholarship programs. We take pride in supporting over 180 beneficiaries, with 81% of them hailing from B40 backgrounds.
