Aminat is a Partner in the Tax, Regulatory & People Services division.  She has garnered over 14 years of professional experience in business advisory projects for various entities, delivering value-adding results with industry-leading practices.

Aminat is a Partner in the Tax, Regulatory & People Services division.  She has garnered over 14 years of professional experience in business advisory projects for various entities, delivering value-adding results with industry-leading practices. Her area of specialization cuts across tax advisory and compliance services for companies operating in the Nigerian oil and gas industry and Free Trade Zones.

She has served as team lead and Project Manager on several large tax-related projects including business restructuring advisory, tax audits and investigations, tax reform (tax system transformation, tax risk management, tax administrative framework design, tax capacity building/training, institutional framework review,  support & implementation), tax structuring, tax due diligence. Since the enactment of the Petroleum Industry Act ( PIA) Aminat has provided PIA advisory and implementation support services to International and indigenous companies operating in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. She has participated in several PIA workshops, seminars, and training programs.

She has built strong and reputable relationships with the Nigerian Export Processing Zone Authority, the Nigerian tax authorities and led negotiations with the Federal Inland Revenue Service and State Boards of Internal Revenue on tax audit issues for local and multinational clients. She regularly contributes to thought Leadership materials including tax articles and newsletters, and facilitated several seminars,  webinars, and sessions on various tax regulatory updates.

Aminat holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Ado Ekiti (now Ekiti State University), Nigeria , and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Economics and Management from the Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP School) in Rueil Malmaison, France. She is an Associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), reflecting her expertise in accounting, taxation, and the energy sector.
