Oludayo Adeniji

Oludayo is a Partner in the Deal Advisory M&A Tax unit in the Tax, Regulatory & People Services (TRPS) division of KPMG West Africa and has garnered over 15 years of experience advising KPMG clients on tax and regulatory matters. He has a deep understanding of the Nigerian tax system ranging from personal and corporate tax compliance to transaction tax advisory. His experience in tax practice covers corporate tax planning, tax advisory and compliance work for local and international companies, mergers, acquisitions, disposal, corporate restructuring, investment & portfolio advisory, as well as advising multinational entities on Group taxation, International Corporate Tax and International Executive Services. 

Oludayo was an integral member of the resource team that assisted the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to review the Nigeria Transfer Pricing (TP) Regulations.  He was also a part of the multi-jurisdictional team of consultants that engaged with the Revenue Service on the TP Rules and suggested currently implemented modifications to the rules. He was a member of the team that assisted International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Nigeria under the auspices of their Trade Group (OPTS)  to provide Transfer Pricing advisory services towards the establishment of the TP Regulations. 

Across various industries, Oludayo has led engagements to identify and execute sustainable corporate tax-planning advice with potential benefits for multinational clients. He has had experience working on several transactions especially with clients in the Consumer & Industrial Markets as well as the Telecommunications, Media & Technology. 

Oludayo holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). His qualifications and experience reflect a solid expertise in accounting and taxation, positioning him as a well-rounded professional in these fields.
