Obaid is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) with over 16 years of post qualification professional experience.
With over two decades of diversified audit experience spanning various sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate and NGOs, Obaid brings a diverse background to the table.
Over the years, he has carried out several audit engagements. These include audits of listed and non-listed entities, both multinational and local entities. Audits of the financial statements prepared both in accordance with the accounting and reporting standards as applicable in Pakistan and International Financial Reporting Standards.
He is well conversant with auditing (ISA, PCAOB) and financial reporting standards.
Outside of work Obaid enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.
