Salim brings to KPMG an extensive audit experience of over 20 years serving publicly listed and private clients in the Real Estate, Banking and Financial institutions, Health Services, Private Equity Funds as well as government-owned entities. Salim Led multiple audit engagements with 5,000+ hours involving prominent international clients such as Brookfield Property Group (BPG) and General Motors Canada involving risk assessment financial closing processes and understanding their design and operating effectiveness. Salim’s areas of expertise include government related services, IFRS, US GAAP, Financial Reporting, Group FS Consolidation, Complex Accounting, Cross Border Transactions, risk assessment and internal control over financial reporting.
