Alexandru is Leader of the Audit Delivery Academy Support Department for KPMG in Romania and Moldova, coordinating a team of over 400 professionals dedicated to providing support services for KPMG’s audit and other support functions, covering a wide range of countries in the KPMG network. Throughout his career, which began in 2011 at KPMG in Romania, Alexandru has been involved in the development and implementation of international collaboration projects, facilitating the exchange of best practices between KPMG offices in Romania, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, the UK, Canada, and other countries in the CEE region. In addition, he has promoted innovation initiatives in audit, both locally and regionally, as an active member of the regional Audit Innovation Group for KPMG CEE.
A key element of Alexandru’s vision is preparing a new generation of professionals, better equipped for the challenges of the future. Consequently, he has supported the development of professional training programs focused on acquiring advanced skills in automation and artificial intelligence, as well as on the continuous improvement of the teams’ technical and analytical abilities. Through these initiatives, he contributes to creating an environment conducive to innovation and to strengthening an organizational culture oriented towards excellence and adaptability.
