Adela is the Head of Audit for KPMG in Romania and Moldova, where she leads a team of more than 300 professionals providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of both domestic and multinational clients across a large spectrum of sectors. She also provides oversight and strategic direction to our team of 300 professionals who provide data analysis powered by audit technologies for audit teams in other KPMG offices. Adela began her career in KPMG in Romania in 2001 and has worked on projects covering numerous fields, such as technology, media, industrial manufacturing, retail, infrastructure and services. She has led several audit innovation initiatives, locally and regionally, and has also acted as KPMG CEE Audit Innovation leader. Adela inspires teams to seek tailored solutions to respond to increased demands from the local market. She is passionate about enhancement of the role of the audit and finance professional in our market, building on the auditor’s fundamental mission to provide public trust, an essential pillar for the development of the economy and society as a whole.
