Kamran is the Tax Regional Leader for Khobar at KPMG in Saudi Arabia, with over 27 years of experience in tax advisory and compliance. He is an established expert in Saudi tax and Zakat matters, specializing in strategy, planning, and compliance management.
Since joining KPMG in 2003, he has led complex tax engagements—including audits and dispute resolution, withholding tax assessments, tax optimization and incentive projects, due diligence, and double tax treaty applications—delivering strategic advice and comprehensive support to businesses.
Kamran also leads quality efforts within the Middle East Tax practice, overseeing the planning and delivery of internal quality reviews to ensure consistent, expert, high‑standard work, and well-governed client services.
His experience prior to KMPG includes roles with a reputable firm of chartered accountants in Pakistan and a leading manufacturing group in Saudi Arabia.
Kamran has worked extensively with leading local and international organizations across diverse sectors, such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Financial Services, IT and Telecommunications.
