With over 20 years of experience, he advises both government and private sector organizations on critical areas such as economic development, trade facilitation, investment attraction, localization, and socio-economic impact analysis. His expertise spans large-scale sector activation, vision and strategy development, and the implementation of public policy initiatives. Omar’s leadership positions him at the forefront of advancing sustainable industrial growth and economic resilience across the region.
In addition to his consulting roles, Omar is an active member of the KPMG IMPACT Future Leaders Council and represents KPMG Middle East on the International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) global Steering Committee, which focuses on shaping global development strategies and sits on the board of the American Leadership Board, which focused on advancing education in the emerging markets.
Omar holds an MBA with distinction from IE Business School and has completed executive education in public policy, macroeconomics, disruptive strategy, and innovation from Harvard, MIT, Fudan Business School, and LSE.
