      The launch of the Center for Emerging Technologies (CET) marks a significant expansion of KPMG and Microsoft’s global alliance of almost twenty years into Saudi Arabia, introducing a nationwide initiative designed to help organizations in the Kingdom better understand the implications and opportunities that emerging technologies bring and how to leverage them effectively to transform businesses.

      Driven from KPMG’s Insight Center in Riyadh, KPMG and Microsoft will work with organizations in the Kingdom on various aspects of emerging technologies – from discussing goals, assessing readiness, creating proof of concepts to setting successful adoption roadmaps.

      We anticipate this initiative to be a significant catalyst for organizations in the Kingdom, propelling them towards sustained innovation and transformative growth.

      The CET Advisory Board

      The Advisory Board is a group of executives and experts in various aspects of technology, industry, economy, innovation, and academia; with passion, holistic thinking and thought leadership around emerging technologies’ role in driving impact and leaps in various sectors.

      As a collaborative and voluntarily effort by its members, the advisory board provides general advice, guidance and critical thinking on what and where the CET should focus on, in order to maximize the positive impact on economy, businesses and society in the country.

      The Advisory board can help open venues of collaboration with relevant partners globally to accelerate learning and adoption. The board also recommends ways of localizing and skilling the knowledge within the Kingdom, across organizations, academia and relevant audiences.

      The launch event held in Riyadh brought together global and local thought leaders including Dr. Michio Kaku, an American physicist and popular science writer, who discussed present and future technological advancements, specifically tailored to the ongoing digital transformation journey in Saudi Arabia.
