Stephen is a lead partner in deal advisory and has over 25 years of experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, sovereign and private capital investments, deal strategy and transaction execution, and business integration and separation globally. His core focus is on transactions in financial services, fintech and customer platforms, real estate, energy and industrial sectors.
Stephen has been a lead partner on more than 500 significant transactions and participated in several fund-raising processes, including for early-stage unicorns, for venture and private capital in Asia Pacific. He has a wealth of financial services expertise in the banking and insurance space, with experience in major bank restructuring programmes in Europe following the global financial crisis of 2008.
He has also led many of the firm’s most complex and demanding deals and IPOs in Asia.
