What is Cyber Security Centre?
The KPMG Cyber Security Centre (CSC) serves as a platform for thought leadership, capability development and innovation for cyber security. It seeks to gather companies, institutes of higher learning and security technology vendors into a collaborative environment. Together, these industry players will work towards enhancing organisational defences against evolving cyber threats. Our initiatives are based on three key thrusts: Empower, Transform and Innovate.
- Empowerment: Helping develop cyber security capabilities in people, process and technology
- Transformation: Delivering a program of change to enhance cyber security defences against evolving threats
- Innovation: Fostering industry collaboration and information sharing in search of new ideas
Capability Development Programme
The first programme of the CSC is a six-month Capability Development Programme seeking to empower participating organisations through the enhancement of their cyber security preparedness for:
- early detection of cyber threats and robust incident response
- discovery, analysis, containment and eradication of malware threats
- enterprise security intelligence capabilities for situation awareness and anticipatory cyber defence
