After completing his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Ümit Yalçın Şen earned a master’s degree from the "Information Systems Design & Management" program at Istanbul Technical University. He has gained industry experience in telecommunications, fintech, e-commerce, financial services, insurance, technology, automotive, retail, energy, media, and entertainment sectors. With over 18 years of experience, including the last 16 years at Big4 firms, Ümit has led services in data protection, privacy, compliance, and cyber threat management, as well as major cybersecurity transformation projects.
