      Oleksii has been working at KPMG Law Ukraine since 2021 and has extensive experience in providing legal services to Ukrainian and international clients in the energy sector. 

      His key areas of expertise include corporate law, energy law, and legal support for investment projects. 

      Oleksiis professional focus lies in energy and climate-related projects, including participation in the preparation of the the Green Paper on the Restructuring of RES Financing, as well as projects related to the implementation of cross-border capacity allocation mechanisms and exchange of balancing services. He has also contributed to projects on eliminating barriers for distributed generation in Ukraine, transposition of REMIT, and advising private clients in more than ten legal due diligence exercises, drafting of transaction documents, advice on virtual PPA (contracts for difference), and regulatory support for investments in solar power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS) during the market entry phase in Ukraine. 

      In addition, Oleksii has practical experience in legal support for the development and construction of utility-scale wind power projects (WPP), including the preparation of contractual documentation.
