KPMG in Ukraine provides advisory services to Ukrnafta in investment deal

KPMG in Ukraine has acted as a financial, tax, legal advisor to Ukrnafta in connection with its acquisition of a 51% stake in Alliance Holding LLC, Shell's Ukrainian subsidiary.

As part of this deal support, KPMG undertook financial, tax and legal due diligence, transaction support, as well as pricing analysis.

Ukrnafta is the largest oil company in Ukraine. Ukrnafta holds 92 special permits for production and commercial development of hydrocarbons, operating 547 filling stations across Ukraine under the Ukrnafta brand.

Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies operating in over 70 countries. Shell entered the Ukrainian market in 2007. The Shell gas station network currently operates 118 stations in 20 regions of Ukraine.
