Javier joined KPMG in 2010 within IT Advisory. Since then, he has concentrated his efforts on providing guidance in cybersecurity and privacy, focusing on technology-related risks. With 17 years of experience in information security and data protection, he has been involved in risk advisory projects and the strategic development of cybersecurity transformation programs. His experience has led him to collaborate on numerous international projects for KPMG in the US, Chile, Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

      Since 2016, Javier has been leading the privacy practice at KPMG in Spain. He is an active member of various specialist forums on the subject and has represented KPMG firms as a speaker at numerous conferences and events. Javier holds a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Systems from UPSAM and a Master's in Cybersecurity from UPM. He is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 22301 and a certified Risk Management Expert under ISO 31000. Additionally, he has completed various courses and earned certifications in the field of privacy.
