Richard leads KPMG’s Global network for Sustainability Consulting for our Banking & Capital Markets practice and the development of KPMG’s Sustainability Consulting business and Global Sustainable Finance propositions. He regularly leads C-Suite engagements with our global banking accounts alongside prominent delivery leadership roles in our major sustainability -related engagements with our clients.
Richard works alongside the Global Head of Financial Services and the Financial Services leadership team to help deliver the firm’s strategic pursuits with member firms across EMEA, North America, and ASPAC.
Richard has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining KPMG in 2015, Richard previously worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc for 12 years where he led high profile disposal projects and structuring engagements as part of the RBS Non-Core and Capital Resolution leadership team and before that, the Global Banking & Markets Credit Structuring team.
Richard’s sustainability experience over the last five years has covered strategy, sustainable finance, financed emissions, value creation, impact investing, options analysis, business at risk, regulatory compliance, greenwashing, transition plans and operating model and governance structures.
