Joe Cassidy is the EMA Head of Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) for KPMG in the UK. With over a decade at KPMG, Joe has played a central role in shaping KPMG’s TMT agenda, drawing on deep experience across technology‑driven transformation, digital strategy, and industry convergence. Prior to leading TMT, Joe served as Head of Corporate Strategy and Head of Financial Services Strategy for KPMG in the UK, where he led complex transformation programs for major FTSE, global and high‑growth clients. His work spans fintech, emerging technologies, digital infrastructure, and the evolving intersections between technology, media, and telecoms.
Joe also serves as Chair of the Swiss Market Advisory Group and Co-Chair of the Defence & Resilience Group at TheCityUK, where he helps guide industry perspectives on global competitiveness and market development. Before joining KPMG, Joe held senior leadership roles at leading banks, bringing extensive experience across global markets, organizational transformation, and technology‑enabled change.
