From 1 October 2025, Rob Fisher will be responsible for leading KPMG International’s Advisory business, driving high-impact solutions for clients, innovation, and quality worldwide. He will also join KPMG International’s Global Management Team, with responsibility for the Advisory strategy and growth, and driving alignment across member firms.
Rob Fisher also serves as Vice Chair, Advisory at KPMG in the U.S and is a member of the U.S. Management Committee.
He most recently served as Financial Services leader for Consulting, KPMG in the US, bringing the breadth of KPMG’s experience and capabilities to serve clients in banking and capital markets, asset management and insurance across the domains of front and middle office, back office, risk, and technology. He was also US firm’s sector leader for Insurance and the Account Executive for Capital One, where he previously served for 10 years as KPMG’s Lead Account Partner.
Rob has more than 30 years of diverse strategy, operations, information systems, risk and control, regulatory and consumer protection experience in Financial Services. Previously, Rob served in various US and global leadership roles including the global and US Trusted solution leader, US Sustainability leader, US Risk Assurance practice leader, and Chief Operating Officer of the US Risk Consulting practice.
In previous leadership roles, he designed and executed strategic growth initiatives and led all aspects of the practice including driving our people and innovation agendas, senior talent management, and day-to-day responsibility for overseeing operations and delivering expected financial results.
Rob was named a 2022 Global Leader in Consulting by Consulting Magazine. He is a past member of US firm’s African Ancestry Advisory Board and Trustee for the KPMG Foundation.
Rob received a B.S. from the University of Virginia and an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is licensed as a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
