Rob Fisher was appointed Global Head of Advisory, KPMG International in October of 2025. He is responsible for driving high-impact client solutions, innovation and quality within KPMG’s International Advisory business. In this role, Rob sits on KPMG International’s Global Management Team, leading Advisory strategy and growth, while driving alignment across member firms. He also previously served as Vice Chair, US Advisory.
Rob has more than 30 years of diverse experience in the US and globally. He has held various leadership roles in the areas of strategy, operations, information systems, risk and control, sustainability, regulatory and consumer protection. He also served as the Financial Services leader for Consulting at KPMG’s US firm, bringing his breadth of knowledge and experience to serve clients in banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance, across the front, middle, and back office, risk and technology. Rob was previously the sector leader for Insurance and the Account Executive for Capital One in the US, where he served for 10 years as KPMG’s Lead Account Partner.
In previous leadership roles, Rob designed and executed strategic growth initiatives and led all aspects of the practice, including driving our people and innovation agendas, senior talent management and day-to-day operations to deliver expected financial results.
In 2022, Rob was named a Global Leader in Consulting by Consulting Magazine. He is a former member of the US firm’s African Ancestry Advisory Board and Trustee for the KPMG Foundation.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
