Aseem is currently head of Telecommunications sector for KPMG Asia Pacific (ASPAC), KPMG in Singapore. A seasoned partner with nearly 20 years of experience in audit and advisory services within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector across Asia, Australia, India, and the Middle East. In early 2023, Aseem transitioned from KPMG Australia to KPMG in Singapore, where he now serves as the Group Partner for a leading telecom operator in Singapore and its investments. In Australia, he was leading the telecom practice for his business division and before his stint in Australia, Aseem spent over a decade with KPMG India, specialising in the telecom sector.

      Aseem is well-regarded for his pragmatic and collaborative approach, maintaining strong relationships with Boards, CEOs, CFOs, and senior stakeholders. He is known for his commitment to long-term value creation and experience in managing complex engagements for some of the region’s largest organisations.

        • Telecom Sector Leadership: Currently a member of the KPMG TMT leadership group, Aseem is well connected globally. Aseem has extensive experience managing high-priority telco accounts across the Europe Middle-East and Africa (EMA) and ASPAC regions. He played a key role in the KPMG Telco Centre of Excellence, supporting clients.

        • TMT Sector contribution : Aseem contributes as a subject matter expert (SME) on strategic global telco initiatives for KPMG and is the lead partner for multiple TMT clients in the ASPAC region. Aseem is actively involved in sector thought leadership.

        • Quality & Transformation: In KPMG Australia, Aseem led initiatives in audit quality and audit transformation and innovation. He continues to be a leader in Transformation Group in KPMG Singapore, driving innovation and enhancing service delivery of KPMG.

        • Accounting Advisory & Transaction Services: Aseem has extensive experience in accounting advisory, IPO support, and debt financing. He has been part of the Accounting Advisory and Transactions Services group and holds US GAAP and SEC reporting accreditation, contributing to the US practice in Singapore.
