Devon is the Head of Audit for KPMG One Africa. In his 30 years at the firm, Devon has led the firm’s IFRS Technical, Audit, Delivery, Tax, and Transformation initiatives and served on the firm’s Executive and Policy Board. He has served many of the firm’s largest clients in that time, in areas such as external audit, technology advisory, tax and IFRS technical advisory. In addition to his firm leadership roles, Devon has been the lead partner on a number of the firms large, listed and complex external audits and specialized IT and cyber related assurance engagements. He also represents the firm on key external forums such as the Audit Committee Forum, CFO Forum and Audit Profession Trust Initiative. Devon’s role in the firm gives him the authority to ensure that KPMG delivers on their promises and his extensive external roles allows Devon to bring proactive insights and value to the Executive and Audit Committee, on key developments in the country.
