      Jason Kazilimani Jr is the Managing Partner of KPMG in Zambia. He is a past President of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), the Zambia Golf Union, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Zambia. He has also served as Chairman of the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission.

      His additional leadership roles have included Chairperson of the Finance, Investments and Audit Committee of the Lusaka Diocese of the Anglican Communion, as well as membership on the Audit and Risk Committee of the National Prosecuting Authority.

      Jason has accumulated extensive audit, accounting, consulting and governance experience over 31 years, having worked with KPMG in Zambia (25 years), the United Kingdom (2 years), and Nigeria (over 4 years). Most recently, he managed Zambia’s largest-ever insolvency assignment in his capacity as Agent of the Provisional Liquidator of Konkola Copper Mines Plc (In Liquidation). He also serves as an arbitrator.

      Prior to joining KPMG, Jason worked for ZCCM Limited as a Capital Accountant in the Group Accounting Unit of the Accounting and Finance Department in Kitwe from 1992 to 1994.

      He is deeply passionate about leadership and actively mentors many professionals. Jason has spoken at and moderated sessions during both local and international conferences and has contributed articles to various journals. A keen golfer, he is a certified golf rules official and serves on the Golf Rules Sub-Committee of the Zambia Golf Union.
