Boitumelo joined the Transaction Services department in 1998 and has over 18 years’ experience providing financial and business advisory services to clients across the public and private sectors. She has extensive experience in delivering financial and operational analysis for both strategic and financial stakeholders.
Her transaction services experience includes financial and operational review engagements, financial modelling, working capital assessments, financial forecast reviews, and financial statement carve-outs. Boitumelo has also played a key role in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) advisory work, including BEE gap analysis, BEE surveys, and BEE strategy development. This includes designing ownership option structures and conducting due diligence on prospective BEE partners.
In addition, Boitumelo is a thought leader in the BEE space, having authored numerous media articles on the status of BEE in South Africa and regularly presenting on BEE-related topics at various organisations. She also supports clients in expanding and growing their presence in South Africa and across the African continent.
