Peter is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for KPMG Australia's Mid-Market & Private division, where he is responsible for the operations of the business and for the deployment and roll-out of technology across the division. His focus is on building scale, productivity and a stronger client and people experience, through bringing together operations, transformation, and AI to help one of the firm's fastest-moving businesses grow.

The role builds on Peter's leadership of KPMG's Business Transformation & AI agenda in the mid-market, where he led a cross-functional team to develop and deploy digital solutions, optimise operations, support workforce training and reskilling, and enhance decision-making through data-driven insights. Before that, he led the firm's Outsourced Solutions service line supporting thousands of mid-market businesses with outsourced finance, corporate secretarial, tax lodgement, payroll, management reporting, and superannuation.

He previously worked in KPMG's Asset & Wealth Management sector and has wide-ranging financial services experience, having worked in asset management, lectured in finance, and served as a trustee director of an industry superannuation fund.

He has also served as the executive director of a public policy institute, worked as a policy adviser specialising in housing and infrastructure, and led a range of strategy and market research engagements. Peter is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master of Finance (UTS) and a Master of Policy Studies (UNSW).
