      Renan Grace is an infrastructure advisory specialist with more than 16 years’ experience specialising in demand forecasting, economic appraisal and strategic planning across the transport, energy and land‑use sectors.

      He advises governments and infrastructure agencies on major, city‑shaping investments, bringing deep expertise in behavioural demand modelling, consumer choice theory and cost–benefit analysis.

      Renan has led the development and application of advanced modelling frameworks that underpin business cases and policy decisions for nationally significant infrastructure programs.

      Renan is recognised as a leader in integrated land‑use, transport and energy modelling, with particular expertise in agent‑based and discrete choice approaches. He has served as technical lead for Australia’s first strategic transport activity and agent‑based model, the Victorian Government’s CityPlan urban growth model, and KPMG’s Energy Behavioural Demand Model.

      His work spans major rail and road investments, housing and urban renewal programs, and energy transition initiatives, including electric vehicles, flexible demand and consumer energy resources. Renan is known for translating complex modelling insights into clear, decision‑ready advice that supports robust investment, policy development and long‑term strategic planning.
