With two decades of global, cross-sector experience, Kate has helped organisations solve complex challenges through innovation, design and human-centred strategy. Her work spans industries from corporates and luxury brands to government services, utilities, health and academia – improving experiences for customers, employees, and citizens alike.
Kate leads KPMG Australia's design-led innovation capability, supporting clients to design better services, systems and experiences that align strategic intent and user needs with measurable outcomes. Her work also focuses on an ethical and a human-centred approach to adopting and adapting emerging technologies.
Since 2019, Kate’s focus has been on Defence and Defence Industry, partnering with government agencies and industry leaders to strengthen sovereign capability, collaboration and workforce resilience. She also works more broadly across other industries in both private and public sectors, helping clients modernise services and embed customer-centric approaches that improve outcomes for people, policy and performance.
Kate's experience reflects a career spanning both creative and consulting industries, with a consistent focus on linking design and customer-centric methodologies to achieve impact. She is a Good Design Australia Ambassador, Design for Good Advisory Council Member and regular jury member and mentor within the Australian and global design community.
