Dan joined KPMG in 2019 following a 20+ year career driving public sector reform across Australia and Europe. He brings extensive experience in developing policy and strategy within the human services and health sectors, including the development of evidence based programs for vulnerable and disadvantaged people and communities.
Dan has a unique understanding of social policy and the social sector, having worked as a leader and executive across health, mental health, education, justice and social services. Joining the partnership in January 2021, he leads KPMG’s work nationally on social housing and homelessness and is KPMG’s leader for Health & Human Services in Victoria. Dan’s recent work has supported record investment into new social housing and into preventing homelessness.
Dan has led cutting edge policy work to design new approaches to commissioning health and human services, designing new markets for services and regulating these sectors, including as the regulator of Victorian private hospital sector. He also leads thinking on the workforce capability that will be needed to support health and human service sectors into the future.
