Rachel is a Director within KPMG’s Performance & Reward practice, advising Boards and human resources professionals on executive and workforce remuneration, governance and regulatory matters.
While Rachel works with listed and unlisted clients across a range of industries, she is a financial services specialist with deep reward expertise across banking, insurance and superannuation. She has supported financial services clients to implement APRA’s Prudential Standard CPS 511, as well as the BEAR and FAR. She has also led a number of comprehensive remuneration effectiveness and compliance reviews against these requirements, providing Remuneration Committees and Boards with an independent view in respect of the effectiveness and regulatory alignment of their remuneration frameworks.
More broadly, Rachel is highly experienced in the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose executive remuneration frameworks that support each client’s unique strategic, cultural and talent objectives, while having regard to investor and proxy expectations. She combines strong commercial acumen with a background in finance and economics, enabling her to understand the core drivers of her clients’ businesses and the broader macroeconomic factors shaping their industries.
As a practising Australian lawyer, Rachel has a robust understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks, enabling her to support clients with the end-to-end implementation of their reward frameworks.
Prior to joining KPMG, Rachel worked in a specialist board advisory practice and spent time in industry, leading the reward function of a multinational ASX 30 company with over 6,000 employees.
