Todd is a Partner in Audit and the Asset Management Sector Lead within KPMG in Bermuda, with over twenty-five years of audit experience in Financial Services focusing on the asset management industry. Todd’s expertise includes assessing and evaluating clients’ methods and procedures for valuing complex financial instruments, including derivatives and is responsible for the audits of large and complex hedge, private equity, and ILS funds that employ a variety of fund structures and investment strategies.
He also has significant experience with advisory-focused engagements within the asset management sector providing technical accounting support on the liquidation of insolvent hedge funds, as well as technical accounting and due diligence support on acquisitions.
In addition to his client work, Todd is heavily involved in Risk Management and audit quality functions within the Firm. He currently serves as the Ethics & Independence Partner, responsible for ensuring the Firm’s and employees’ compliance with applicable independence standards and also leads the Firm’s Quality Peer Review Program.
