      Sarah Robey has more than 15 years of experience advising clients in the financial services industry on U.S. federal, state, and international tax matters, with a focus on (re)insurance and alternative investments.

      She works with insurance and reinsurance companies, captive insurers, hedge funds, private equity funds, and other investment vehicles. Sarah has strong experience in the U.S. taxation of domestic and foreign corporations and regularly prepares and reviews tax returns for insurers and investment structures.

      She also helps clients enhance tax efficiency through corporate structuring and supports financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, Bermuda statutory rules, and IFRS. Sarah is known for providing clear, practical guidance on complex tax matters and helping clients navigate regulatory change, including Bermuda’s Corporate Income Tax and Economic Substance Act. Sarah is also the chair of KPMG in Bermuda’s Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (IDE) Committee.
