Sonia Poulin, a partner in the KPMG Private Enterprise group at the Montréal office, has been practising auditing and business consulting with CEOs, CFOs and entrepreneurs for more than 25 years with private entities, NPOs and public sector organizations. In this capacity, she has audited more than 2,000 financial reports and participated in more than 100 audit committees and boards of directors.
Her clients include private companies, NPOs and parapublic organizations from various sectors, including manufacturing, food, technology, service, retail, education and health. Sonia is a business consultant who establishes long-term relationships with her clients and excels in exchanging ideas that create value. Very solution-oriented, she orchestrates the relationship with each of her clients in terms of added value, using both KPMG's most relevant consulting services and her business contacts in the business market. She also has extensive knowledge in establishing internal controls, financial reporting and analyzing the accounting impacts of complex accounting standards.
She is a leader in the Education sector in Québec and one of our ESG audit leaders.
Throughout her career, she has acted as a writer of technical articles, instructor and speaker on auditing, governance and specialized subjects as well as accounting standards.
