On October 5, 2023, LXRandCO Inc., LXR Canada Inc., Groupe Global LXR Inc. and LXR Luxury Products International Inc. (the "Debtors") filed a notice of intention to make a proposal pursuant to Section 50.4 (1) of the BIA and KPMG Inc. has consented to act as Trustee under the proposals.
Appointment of a Receiver pursuant to section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the "BIA")
On September 20, 2024, LXR Produits de Luxe International Inc., LXR Canada Inc. and Groupe Global LXR Inc. (the "Debtors") have obtained the Receiver discharge order.
On November 3, 2023, the Superior Court of Quebec (the "Court") issued an order appointing KPMG Inc. (“KPMG”) as Receiver to the property of LXR Produits de Luxe International Inc., LXR Canada Inc. and Groupe Global LXR Inc. (the "Debtors") under section 243 of the BIA.
On November 5, 2023, LXRandCO Inc., LXR Canada Inc., Groupe Global LXR Inc. and LXR Luxury Products International Inc. (the "Debtors") has become bankrupt due to the non-filing of the proposal and KPMG Inc. was appointed Trustee of the Estate of the Debtors.
