KPMG once again recognised as Inclusive Employer by CareER

We are thrilled to announce that KPMG has been awarded the 2024 CareER Disability Inclusive Employer Badge in Hong Kong. This is the second consecutive year we have received this honour, demonstrating our commitment to creating a work environment that is inclusive of everyone regardless of their background, and a testament of the efforts we have been making in driving inclusion, diversity & equity. CareER is Hong Kong’s first charitable job-matching platform and peer support community for people with disabilities and special education needs.

On 19 October, KPMG joined the CareER Disability Inclusion Index Forum cum Disability Inclusive Employer Badge Presentation Ceremony, and the Inclusive Recruitment Fair 2024 in Hong Kong with both events held on the same day. Companies from different industries gathered together to celebrate disability inclusion and recognise outstanding companies at the Inclusive Employer Award ceremony.

At the Inclusive Recruitment Fair, KPMG volunteers and colleagues welcomed candidates who are people with disabilities or with special education needs. Our people exchanged and shared their people experience at KPMG and provided insights on what it’s like to be working at a professional services firm.

KPMG entered the CareER Disability Inclusion Index earlier this year with an objective to measure the outcome of our efforts thus far as well as benchmark ourselves against the industry standard. We are delighted to report that KPMG received higher than average ratings compared in the business community across many categories. Categories measured include Staff Engagement and Retention, Accessibility, etc.

We take great pride in fostering an inclusive environment at work where diversity is valued and everyone, regardless of their background, is given the opportunity to come as they are and thrive with us.
