The rapid development of new technologies such as big data and virtual reality is helping to facilitate innovation in the fields of culture, tourism and sports. Businesses that are primed to take advantage of the emerging technologies will be better able to adapt to the fast-changing landscape in the cultural and leisure sectors.
KPMG China has launched the CultureTech 50 campaign to motivate and commend technology enterprises that can demonstrate innovative achievements and potential in the fields of culture, tourism and sports. It will identify leading and emerging companies in these three sectors, and is part of KPMG China’s Future 50 series.
CultureTech 50 also aims to enhance the competitiveness of organisations in the culture, tourism and sports sectors, improve their awareness of the innovations that are available, promote cooperation, and provide support for the growth of technology-enabled enterprises.
