Amid growing interest in virtual asset-related products from intermediaries, the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority have released a new joint circular. This updates the previous circular on activities by intermediaries, released in October 2022, reflecting the ongoing evolution of the virtual assets landscape in Hong Kong and globally.
