      Ethics Hotline

At KPMG, we are committed to achieving high standards of service and high ethical standards in our practices and dealings.  Our success has been, and must remain, based on our commitment to performance with integrity – at all times and in everything we do.  Hence, you are encouraged to raise any matters of concern with an appropriate person. In this respect, KPMG China Ethics Hotline, hosted by an independent third-party provider, has been established to facilitate confidential reporting of non-compliance matters.

The Hotline is available to KPMG personnel, as well as clients, contractors, vendors and other parties for reporting concerns in relation to KPMG China.

      Confidentiality and Protection

      Confidentiality

KPMG China utilizes an independent third party to operate the Ethics Hotline and the web-based reporting system such that no KPMG personnel can intervene with the reporting process. Using an external provider helps ensure confidentiality to anyone filing a report and anonymity to those who choose to remain anonymous.

      Protection

KPMG China prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a possible violation or who participates in an investigation, even if sufficient evidence is not found to substantiate the concern.

KPMG International also separately operates a KPMG International Hotline for anyone to confidentially report concerns on certain areas of activity by KPMG International, KPMG member firms or the senior leadership of a KPMG member firm. Please see here for details.
