We would like to remind our clients for their obligation, following the Decree issued by the Labor Minister (ΚΔΠ 455/2024 – available only in Greek), to submit the essential terms of employment. The essential terms of business must be submitted through the ergani portal by 28 February 2025 the latest, therefore we urge employers to promptly comply with the requirements of the relevant Decree.
Essential terms of employment that should be submitted, as outlined in the Decree, are the following:
- Employer’s details
- The type of business (in case of retail businesses)
- Employee details
- Employer’s registered office address
- Place of business as specified in the employment contract/agreement and the actual workplace
- Employee job description and specialization
- Employment commencement date
- Employment end date (in case of fixed-term employments)
- In case of temporary employment agencies, the indirect employer’s details
- Conditions and duration of the probationary period
- Duration of annual leave and method of allocation
- Salary/Wages, frequency of payment (daily, weekly, monthly or hourly)
- Standard working hours per day/week
- Where the employee’s working schedule is unpredictable this should be mentioned
- Other benefits, allowances, commissions, cost-of-living allowance, etc.
