KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services. Member firms in the KPMG organization are members in, or have other legal connections to, KPMG International, an English private company limited by guarantee. KPMG International acts as the coordinating entity for the overall benefit of the KPMG member firms but does not provide professional services to clients. Professional services to clients are exclusively provided by member firms. Each KPMG firm is a legally distinct and separate entity. KPMG started operations in Estonia in 1992, being the first major global audit firm in the market. Since 2017, we have been a member of KPMG in the Nordic region. We work closely with colleagues at KPMG Oy AB (Finland), Sweden and other Nordic countries. In addition to the Baltics, KPMG has offices in. Shared centers of excellence and infrastructure help ensure a high level of client service in each location and across the region.

Corporate responsibility (CR) is integrated into our business model, and we consider CR aspects in all our business decisions and activities. Our long-term business success depends on our employees’ qualifications and technical skills and commitment, client satisfaction and our reputation as a thought leader. • We are a member of the Responsible Business Forum in Estonia, and for several years we have helped assess the performance of businesses participating in the Estonian Sustainable Business Index.
  
• KPMG actively supports its staff obtaining professional qualifications and taking examinations in professional competence. A number of our staff members hold a licence of a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or an EQF (European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning) level 5 or 6 certificate in accountancy.
  
• We measure employee engagement through the Global People Survey (GPS) that is conducted once in two years.
  
• We publish various newsletters dedicated to tax and management issues.
  
• We are dedicated to supporting youth education. Together with TalTech University Foundation we award an annual scholarship for students of the Faculty of Economics of TalTech.
