      • GO: Start working after your A Levels and get responsibility and client exposure from the very start

Our award winning KPMG Business School will provide a bespoke training programme that will help you to develop personally as well as professionally.

To support your degree studies, you will have 1 day off each week throughout your university semesters. Once you progress to the professional exams, we also offer exceptional study leave to support you to obtain your exams.

Auditing is not just about numbers; it is about training bright young professionals to understand how businesses operate, how businesses seek out commercial opportunities, manage risks and how they are then accurately presented in a set of annual financial statements. It is for this reason that audit training is an excellent business foundation for students with an ambition to become extraordinary business advisors.

At KPMG, quality is critical to us in all that we do. We only recruit the brightest and the best people. You will learn and grow working alongside experienced and committed professionals as you undertake your higher level degree and your professional examinations.

We are at an exciting time in auditing, where technology is changing how we all work. At KPMG, we are at the forefront of adopting sophisticated tools to make sense of the explosion of data in our market. As an audit team member, you will learn how to integrate technology in the audit whilst providing clients with the highest quality insights into their businesses.

Join Irelands No.1 Tax practice and market leader with the largest R&D practice and leading tax advisors in Aviation & Finance.

The Tax department is split between Advisory and Compliance work, however as an Apprentice you will get the opportunity to experience both areas.

Compliance work is focused around Tax returns, which means it is numbers driven and if numbers are your thing you will really enjoy getting stuck into these! This will allow you to develop an understanding of the Tax system, different Tax rates and the different rules and exemptions relating to the treatment of goods and services.

On the other hand, Advisory is more factual and law based. The main goal in Advisory is to build evidence on the available facts and information of the case and subsequently provide the appropriate advice to your client. Advisory is very interesting as you get to work on a variety of clients from Aviation, to FMCG Companies, to investment Funds and Restructuring queries.

Advisory allows you to build on the knowledge you attained from Compliance, putting it into practice, but in a more specified way to solve the facts of the case.
