    Great things happen when talent meets opportunity. Our three to nine month work placements across Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Belfast let the best and the brightest students join forces with KPMG. It’s a chance to make a difference in your community, become a force for change on meaningful client projects, and learn valuable life-long skills.

    KPMG interns and placements have the opportunity to secure an early offer to the KPMG Graduate Programme. Up to 80% of our interns and placements secure an early offer to our Graduate Programme. Once you’ve completed our Graduate Programme, you can progress to Manager within 12 months - the fastest promotion route to Manager on the market.

    At KPMG, you have the opportunity to complete your ACA exams and become a Chartered Accountant with the support of our award winning Business School. KPMG also offers graduates the opportunity to complete their Tax exams and a STEM pathway with training certifications.

    In KPMG, Corporate Citizenship is at the heart of our organisation, and we work with some of Ireland’s most dedicated charities and voluntary bodies.

    In 2023 KPMG had 19,000+ volunteer hours and raised 2.3 million through employee fundraising and donations.

    All Placements & Interns have the opportunity to get involved in Corporate Citizenship activities such as beach clean ups, and many other initiatives which provides them with the opportunity to achieve their full potential at KPMG.

    • A dedicated Performance Manager who will support you through your work, give feedback, and ensure you are integrated in to your team.
    • A dedicated Buddy who is a graduate who understands what it is like to be in your shoes. They are here to support you with any questions you may have, ensure you are included in all team social activities and assist you with your work.

    KPMG invests €19.6 million into our award winning KPMG Business School annually. Our Business School offers a wide range of training courses specifically designed for those who join our student programmes. Our Aspire & Ignite Programme is a holistic, development series for Placements and Interns.

    This is aimed at helping students learn key skills for their future career, developing their personal self and bridging the gap between work and life. The workshops are run on a weekly and monthly basis with other Interns and Placements in the firm.
