Karina Howley is Head of Corporate Citizenship & Diversity at KPMG since 2007.
KPMG has won a variety of Corporate Citizenship Awards including the Overall Achievement Award at the Chambers Ireland CSR Awards in both 2013 and 2017 and in more recent years has won the 2024 ‘Communications Award’ for KPMG Women in Sports agenda Chambers Ireland Sustainable Impact Awards; the Allianz Business to Arts Awards 2023: ‘Best Long Term Partnership’ with Children’s Books Ireland at the Business to Arts Awards; the National Inclusion & Diversity Awards 2023: ‘LGBTQ+ Inclusion Award’ and the Green Awards 2023: ‘The Green Professional Services Award’.
Karina established Enactus Ireland in 2011 and set up the not-for-profit organisation and organised the first National Competition with the winners representing Ireland at the World Cup. Karina was the Company Secretary for Enactus Ireland until 2023 and she previously held a number of senior positions at Intel including European CSR Manager.
Karina has a passion for Corporate Citizenship and Inclusion, Diversity and Equity and engaging directly with community/NGO's to put the skill-sets and resources of KPMG into making a real and valuable difference to society.
Karina was the Chairperson of the Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Council from 2011 – 2019 and is also a member of International Chamber of Commerce CSR Council.
