This is sustained by its talented and diverse workforce, but there are challenges to maintain this status, including the pressure on housing and infrastructure mentioned earlier in our report and an increasingly uncertain global landscape.
Ireland boasts one of the most educated workforces in Europe, with over 50 percent of the Irish population aged 25-64 having completed Third Level education. Therefore, it’s no surprise to see respondents rank accessible education as the biggest talent priority for the city and underscores the importance of making educational opportunities available to all.
Dublin is standing at a moment of opportunity. Its rich history and vibrant cultural scene are fundamental to its identity yet cannot be relied upon in place of real, strategic, forward planning. As global cities evolve, so too must Dublin.
