About the role
The Business Development, Manager/ Associate Director is responsible for managing and developing business and client relationships in Chinese-speaking market in Cambodia. The candidate will participate in developing, executing, and adjusting business plans (when necessary) in accordance with the company's strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Update and advise potential Chinese-speaking clients (including but not limited to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.) on investment opportunities and risks in Cambodia
- Support go-to-market and client communication in relation to accounting and tax issues, labour law and work permit, exchange control, feasibility studies, business model, and licensing;
- Based on relevant published newsletter in English, have them published in Chinese for our Chinese-speaking clients.
- Along with relevant KPMG sector leaders, organize seminar and workshop, and present the content in Chinese;
- Manage external and internal stakeholders and guide the KPMG teams to execute effectively
- Work with relevant leaders to perform SWOT analysis and develop annual Chinese-speaking clients business plan and strategy for KPMG Cambodia.
Qualifications & Experience
- The candidate must be a Chinese.
- At least 4-5 years of working experiences with auditing/ consulting companies, Chinese-speaking clients, or Chinese companies.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Chinese language is a MUST.
- Background in accounting or tax or advisory (Tax field is a plus).
- Good command in English is beneficial.
- Proven ability to make and sustain meaningful relationships with clients & colleagues
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive.
- Open-minded, willing to learn, flexible, active, result-oriented, and creative.
- Ability to gain understanding of global and local issues and impact of Chinese-speaking businesses in Cambodia would be an advantage
- Multiple client’s management skill.
- Multi-culture exposure working with regions and local is necessary.
- Candidate will need to serve the CN client’s portfolios, as required.
