At KPMG, we understand that solving the world’s most pressing challenges requires more than words - it requires bold, measurable actions. Our Impact Plan is a strategic framework that guides our efforts and holds us accountable across four critical pillars: Governance, People, Planet, and Prosperity. Since its launch, we have made meaningful and measurable progress.

Governance: Leading with Trust and Transparency

We strengthened our commitment to ethical leadership and accountability:

      • Developed our Trusted AI framework to guide colleagues and clients on the safe, responsible and ethical use of AI.
      • Celebrated 10 years of the KPMG Responsible Tax program, continuing to bring together diverse stakeholders to foster informed dialogue and discussion.
      • Embedded Our Impact Plan oversight at our Global Board committee level, ensuring long-term governance.

People: Investing in Our People and Culture

We continue to create a more inclusive, equitable, and future-ready workplace:

      • Increased representation of women in leadership roles across KPMG firms to 30.4 percent, up by 4.3% since October 2020.1
      • Rolled out an engagement management lifecycle initiative in our Audit practice, implementing a disciplined process to spread workload more evenly across the year to improve work-life balance.
      • Invested over 150,000 hours in the Digital and Data Foundations training program - completing more than 210,000 training modules.
      • Engaged 57,000 colleagues worldwide in virtual “24 Hours of AI” events.

      Planet: Advancing Environmental Sustainability

We’re on track toward our net-zero emissions goal:

      • Reduced emissions against our FY19 baseline year by 41 percent.
      • Achieved 85% renewable electricity globally, with KPMG Board firms reaching 100% renewable electricity.
      • Invested over US$1 million in WWF projects through our global network in FY24.

Prosperity: Creating Opportunities and Giving Back

We’re focused on building a better future for communities around the world:

      • Contributed US$2.1 billion in operational taxes that support governmental functions, public benefits and key infrastructure in the communities where we operate.
      • Provided US$163 million of investment to support local communities, up 10 percent from FY23, and contributed more than 707,000 hours through volunteering and pro bono work.
      • Since inception we have reached 2.8m disadvantaged young people through our 10by30 education initiatives.

      A Living Commitment

Our Impact Plan is more than a report - it's a living document. We review our progress annually, refine our goals, and respond to the changing needs of the world. By taking real action, we aim to lead by example and build trust with our stakeholders, employees, and communities.

1 KPMG International’s women in leadership goal was set across participating firms based on the cumulative local goals and aspirations. KPMG US is not a participant. As a network of independent firms, the measurement and tracking of women in leadership progress is performed at a local level. Periodically, where possible, KPMG firms share data with KPMG International which is aggregated to track and report progress across the global organization. Data represents the KPMG firms who reported FY24 gender data to KPMG International, KPMG US data is not included.
