KPMG Luxembourg is proud to be the first firm in Luxembourg listed with ESMA as an external reviewer of European Green Bonds. On 21 December 2024, Europe reached a milestone with the entry into force of the European Green Bond Regulation – a landmark framework that sets new standards for financing the environmental transition. It brings greater transparency for issuers and investors, grounded in alignment with the EU Green Taxonomy for sustainable economic activities.

'Positive Actions' for gender equality
The 'Positive Actions' certification in Luxembourg, an initiative of the Ministry of Social Security and Ministry of Equality between Women and Men, recognizes organizations that actively promote equality, inclusion and diversity in the workplace. This voluntary program supports companies in developing best practices that enhance wellbeing, collaboration and sustainable growth in the pursuit of greater gender equity. KPMG Luxembourg has successfully met the certification’s requirements. As part of the certification process, an in-depth analysis assessed equality of treatment, equality in decision-making and equality in work-life balance.
This certification validates our best practices in promoting gender equality and reinforces trust with external parties, clients, society and our people. It reflects our commitment to empowering our people and celebrating our differences, as diverse perspectives fuel innovation and drive growth.

Antigaspi Label for food waste reduction
KPMG Luxembourg has been awarded the Antigaspi label in recognition of our proactive efforts to reduce food waste. This includes minimizing surplus, repurposing food, improving storage and handling, and raising awareness. The initiative is led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Viniculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Luxembourg Chamber of Trades.
