Michiel van der Kleij is a Partner within KPMG Deals and has more than 20 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, and transactions. Drawing on his experience in both Amsterdam and London, he has advised on over 500 domestic and international transactions for corporates, private equity firms, and infrastructure investors.
Michiel supports clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, with a strong focus on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, carve-outs, integrations, and complex transaction-related matters. Combining deep sector expertise, including in the energy industry, with extensive international M&A experience, he helps executives, investors, and management teams execute strategic transactions with confidence and create sustainable value.
