Michiel has been a full-time deal specialist for over 14 years and has worked on more than 300 transactions, mostly on behalf of large (international) corporates or private equity investors. Within the KPMG Deal Advisory team, Michiel is the point of contact for transactions in the Energy & Natural Resources sector and for transactions relating to (energy) infrastructure. Michiel has a large (international) network in the energy sector and has worked for the KPMG transaction team in both Amsterdam and London. In addition to serving clients in the energy sector, Michiel also provides transaction advice to various listed companies. Michiel focuses in his work on (vendor) due diligence projects whereby he often has to deal with complex valuation issues, financial modeling, restructuring, post-deal integration or pre-deal separation and SPA advice.
