Sander has been leading the Big Data Analytics team at KPMG since 2010. He obtained his PhD in high-energy physics. He previously worked at the National Institute for Subatomic Physics (NIKHEF) and did various projects at the particle accelerator at CERN. Sander has received several grants and awards related to high performance distributed computing and has published numerous articles in this area. He has more than ten years of experience in large scale distributed computing, real-time systems and data processing technologies.
